Man United have one week to tie up deal to sign top 28-year-old – report
Manchester United have one week to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan before he's taken off the market, say reports
Inter Milan have given Manchester United one week to tie up a deal to sign Ivan Perisic, according to reports in Italy.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Serie A side have set the Red Devils a deadline to get a deal concluded for the 28-year-old winger.
The same story claims that Manchester United have up to eight days to table a reasonable offer for the attacker, or the Italian club will take him off the market this summer.
The same article says that Inter Milan boss Luciano Spalletti doesn’t want to sell Perisic this summer but the move could still happen.
It is also claimed that Inter Milan would be willing to accept a bid of £42m in a deal which involved Anthony Martial joining the Serie A side on loan for next season.
Manchester United have long been linked with a move for Perisic this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to further bolster his attacking options at Stamford Bridge.
The Red Devils have so far concluded deals to sign Romelu Lukaku, Victor Lindelof and Nemanja Matic this summer ahead of Mourinho’s second campaign at the club.
Manchester United take on West Ham United in their first home game of the season later this month.
