Manchester United are still pursuing a deal to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan this summer after completing the transfer of Nemanja Matic on Monday, according to reports.

Sky Sports is claiming that Perisic, who has long been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks, remains one of the Red Devils’ top targets this summer.

Perisic has been regularly touted as a target for the club this summer but it seems that Manchester United have been unable to agree a fee with Inter Milan.

Now, Sky Sports is reporting in their Transfer Centre that Perisic remains a prime target for the Red Devils as Jose Mourinho eyes his fourth signing of the summer.

The same story, published at 19:45 BST on Monday, claims that Inter Milan have publicly stated that Perisic is not for sale, but the Italian club are said to value him at around £48m.

The 28-year-old Croatian winger has long been linked with Manchester United and it appears that he remains a top target for the Red Devils as Mourinho prepares for his second season in charge at the club.

Manchester United have signed Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Matic so far this summer.
