Man United reopen talks to make 28-year-old their fourth signing – report
Manchester United have reopened talks to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan this summer, according to reports
Manchester United have reopened talks to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror, as quoted by Metro, is claiming that the Red Devils are confident of being able to conclude a deal to sign Perisic from the Italian club this summer.
The same report says that Manchester United have already had two bids rejected for the Croatian winger as Jose Mourinho looks to further bolster his attacking options at Old Trafford.
The story says that as has been widely reported this summer, Inter Milan are believed to be holding out for a fee of around £48m.
However, the article also now states that Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward is growing increasingly confident that the Red Devils will be able to conclude a deal to sign Perisic before the close of the transfer window at the end of the month.
Manchester United have been linked with a host of different players so far this summer but have only concluded deals to sign Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic.
The Red Devils are aiming to improve on their sixth-placed finish in the Premier League last season.
