Martin Keown makes confident Man United prediction about Romelu Lukaku

Martin Keown is backing Romelu Lukaku to fire Manchester United to a Premier League title challenge this season.
The Red Devils were linked with a move to sign Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann and Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata in the initial months of the summer transfer window.
However, Manchester United managed to pull off a transfer coup in July when the Europa League winners managed to hijack Chelsea’s attempts to sign Lukaku and complete a 75m deal for the striker.
The Belgium international, who was sold to Everton in a £27m transfer from Chelsea in 2014 under Mourinho, scored 25 goals in 36 games in the Premier League last season.
However, Lukaku’s ability to thrive in big games and big moments has been questioned since he became Manchester United’s second-most expensive player of all-time.
Former Arsenal defender Keown has no doubts that Lukaku will be a big success at Old Trafford and backed the £75m signing to fire the Red Devils to the Premier League title.
“After three mediocre seasons by their standards, things seem a lot rosier at Old Trafford,” Keown told the Daily Mail.
“United have made another huge signing in Romelu Lukaku, who will be a focal point for their attack and a potential star for many years to come.
“The great United teams have all contained superb strikers and Lukaku’s goals can fuel a title challenge.”
Lukaku scored twice in Manchester United’s 4-0 win over West Ham on Sunday.
Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season in charge in 2012-13.
