Ryan Giggs has welcomed the contributions of Anthony Martial, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marcus Rashford to Manchester United’s impressive start to the Premier League season.

The Red Devils were 4-0 winners against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday to maintain their perfect start to the top-flight campaign.

Romelu Lukaku scored his fourth goal in three games for the Red Devils to help Manchester United to extend their lead at the Liberty Stadium following Eric Bailly’s opener.

Club record signing Paul Pogba scored in successive Premier League games to cement three points before Martial’s late effort continued his prolific start to the season from the bench.

Mkhitaryan hasn’t got on the score sheet but has made four goals for his Manchester United team-mates, while Rashford’s movement helped to create space for Jose Mourinho’s other attacking talents.

Manchester United eased to a 4-0 victory over West Ham United in their opening Premier League fixture earlier this month to lay down a marker in the title race.

Former Manchester United winger Giggs is pleased to see Martial, Mkhitaryan and Rashford easing the workload on summer signing Lukaku.

“They look powerful with Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku, but what is pleasing to see is the creative players doing well as well,” Giggs told Sky Sports.

“Henrikh Mkhitaryan already has four assists and that will do him the world of good, so hopefully he can get back to his Dortmund form.

“There’s a lot of players contributing to goals which is crucial to winning the league.

“Juan Mata scores year-in-year-out, Antony Martial chipping in and when Marcus Rashford and Mkhitaryan join the party you’ve got options. You can’t just rely on Lukaku.”

Manchester United will host Leicester City in their next Premier League game at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.
