Spanish outlet Don Balon, as quoted by the Daily Star, is claiming that the Red Devils are now determined to try and land Perisic from Inter Milan.
Manchester United have been linked with a possible move to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid this summer, but the same report claims that the Premier League club have now switched their focus towards getting a deal for the Croatian winger over the line.
The same story says that Manchester United have been “locked” in negotiations with Inter Milan about the possibility of signing Perisic this summer.
The article also claims that Inter Milan are demanding £46m for the 28-year-old winger but Manchester United want to pay “significantly” less than that.
It is claimed in the same story that Manchester United have put their efforts to sign Bale in the “background” as they look to make Perisic their fourth summer signing.
The Red Devils completed a deal to sign midfielder Nemanja Matic from Chelsea on Monday after they signed Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku earlier this summer.
