Man United to sign 24-year-old Ivorian on five-year contract – report

Manchester United are set to sign Serge Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain on a five-year contract, according to reports in the British media.
Website Goal is claiming that the 24-year-old Ivorian is set to sign for the Red Devils on a long-term deal as Jose Mourinho looks to secure his fourth recruit of the summer transfer window.
The same report says that the Red Devils are hoping for a “swift” resolution of the legal issues that have prevented Aurier from being able to enter the UK.
The signing of Aurier would bolster Mourinho’s defensive options ahead of the new season, adding competition for both Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian.
There have been reports in recent days claiming that Manchester United are set to face competition from Chelsea for the signature of the defender, but the report in Goal seems to suggest that the Red Devils are close to winning the race for his signature.
Manchester United have signed three players so far this summer after having tied up deals for Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic so far.
The Red Devils are set to kick off their Premier League campaign with a home clash against West Ham United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
