Man United launch last-ditch bid to sign 29-year-old from Chelsea – report
Manchester United have launched a late bid to try and sign Willian from Chelsea, according to reports in England

Manchester United have launched a late transfer bid to try and sign Willian from Chelsea, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Red Devils have made a last-gasp attempt to try and bring the Brazilian attacker to Old Trafford before the transfer window closes at 23:00 BST on Thursday night.
The same report says that Willian would be likely to cost around £35m should he move to Old Trafford.
Mourinho and Willian know each other well, having won the Premier League title together with Chelsea in the 2014-15 campaign.
Should the surprise move go through, it would mark the second player that Manchester United have signed from Chelsea this summer, after having completed a deal to land Nemanja Matic earlier this month.
Manchester United have already signed three players this summer, after having wrapped up deals to land Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Matic.
The Red Devils have made a superb start to the new season, after having secured victories over Swansea, West Ham and Leicester to leave them top of the Premier League table after three games.
Mourinho will be hoping to lead Manchester United to the Premier League title for the first time since their last triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.
