The Tottenham striker is ready for Sunday's clash against Chelsea at Wembley in the Premier League
Harry Kane has sent a warning shot to Chelsea that the prolific Tottenham Hotspur striker is geared up Sunday’s Wembley clash.
Spurs will host their bitter rivals in their first Premier League game since relocating to Wembley as the north London club build their new stadium.
Tottenham made an impressive start to the new Premier League campaign after goals from Dele Alli and Ben Davies secured a 2-0 win against 10-man Newcastle United at St James’ Park last weekend.
Spurs will come up against a Chelsea side still licking their wounds from a shock 3-2 loss to Burnley in their opening Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge.
Indeed, the defending champions’ defeat came at an even heavier cost following the dismissals of Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas to render the duo unavailable for Sunday’s London derby.
Kane failed to find the score sheet at Newcastle but the England striker will be hoping to get off the mark at the home of English football on Sunday.
The 23-year-old scored 29 times in 31 games in the Premier League last season to finish as the Premier League’s top goal-scorer for the second successive season.
And Kane issued a worrying message for Chelsea and their fans ahead of Sunday’s clash at Wembley.
Kane posted the above snap on his Instagram page and wrote: “Looking forward to Sunday…💪 #PremierLeague #COYS #THFC #Wembley.”
