John Hartson hailed Alexis Sanchez as “different class” after the Arsenal striker scored the winner in a 3-1 victory over Cologne at The Emirates.

However, Cologne took the lead in the delayed kick off after Jhon Cordoba lobbed David Ospina from 40 yards following the goalkeeper’s poor clearance.
Arsenal were jeered off the pitch at half-time and Arsene Wenger brought on summer signing Sead Kolasinac at the start of the second half.
The Bosnian defender levelled with a superb volley to continue his impressive start to his Arsenal career following his summer switch from Schalke 04.
Sanchez proved to be the match winner after the Chile international cut in from the wing before curling a finish into the net from the edge of the area.
Former Arsenal striker Hartson was full of praise for Sanchez after the Manchester City target scored his first goal of the season.
“Different class from Alexis Sanchez. It’s a brilliant goal,” Hartson told BT Sport on Thursday night.
“He cut inside and goes across – what a finish. He digs it out from nowhere. He surprises the goalkeeper.”
Spanish defender Hector Bellerin polished off a comfortable win with a late goal.
Sanchez has entered the final 12 months of his Arsenal contract after being linked with a move to Manchester City throughout the summer transfer window.
The north London side will make the short trip across the English capital to Chelsea on Sunday.
