Piers Morgan could not help but aim a dig at Aaron Ramsey after Arsenal’s goalless draw with Chelsea on Sunday.

The Gunners produced a much improved performance against the Blues as they were able to head back home with a point from the clash in west London.

Ramsey was one of Arsenal’s best players on Sunday and he was named as the man of the match as the Gunners picked up their first away point of the season.

The midfielder gave his post-match thoughts when interviewed by Sky Sports after Sunday’s game.

But celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan was quick to bring the midfielder back down to earth again after the result.

Morgan tweeted after Sunday’s game: “‘We’re in a good place’ – Aaron Ramsey.

“Arsenal are 12th.”

Arsenal return to Premier League action with a home clash against West Brom on Monday week as they look to climb the Premier League table.

Arsene Wenger is aiming to steer the Gunners to their first Premier League title triumph since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.

The north London side finished fifth in the Premier League last season as they missed out on Champions League qualification, but they did win the FA Cup by beating Chelsea at Wembley in May.
