Arsene Wenger sends message to Arsenal fans about Alexis Sanchez ahead of Chelsea trip
Arsene Wenger says Alexis Sanchez is completely focused on Arsenal ahead of Sunday's crunch clash with Chelsea

Arsene Wenger has reassured Arsenal fans that Alexis Sanchez remains totally committed to the cause ahead of Sunday’s trip to Chelsea.
The Chile international’s situation was a relentless source of speculation throughout the summer transfer window as he was constantly linked with a move away from The Emirates.
However, Arsenal decided not to sell the 28-year-old, despite him entering into the final 12 months of his contract at The Emirates.
Sanchez started his first game since the close of the transfer window in front of Arsenal’s home fans at The Emirates on Thursday night as he helped to fire the Gunners to a 3-1 win over Cologne in their Europa League opener.
And Wenger has insisted that Sanchez is totally committed to Arsenal as the Gunners prepare to take on Chelsea in their crunch Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking at his post-match news conference at The Emirates, Wenger said of Sanchez: “He’s still running, fighting to come back to his best physically.
“But Alexis is Alexis – he’s an exceptional player and even if he’s not completely back today.
“Physically, he is an exceptional football player and he can deliver a decisive pass or a goal at any moment.
“For us, [against Cologne] he gave some great balls and in the second half of course he scored. He can always create something special.”
Arsenal head into Sunday’s clash having taken six points from their opening four Premier League games.
The north London side, who finished fifth in the Premier League table last term, returned to winning ways last weekend when they beat Bournemouth 3-0 at The Emirates.
