Gary Neville sends message to Arsenal supporters about Alexis Sanchez
Gary Neville gives his thoughts on Alexis Sanchez's situation at Arsenal after the speculation about his future

Gary Neville admits that he is intrigued to see how Alexis Sanchez will perform for Arsenal this season following the heavy speculation about his future in the summer.
Sanchez was relentlessly linked with a move away from The Emirates during the off-season, with the 28-year-old’s current contract at Arsenal set to expire at the end of next season.
The forward was thought to be of particular interest to Manchester City during the final few days of the window but a move failed to materialise as the Gunners opted to keep hold of their talisman.
Sanchez will now stay at Arsenal until January at the earliest as he is forced to focus on performing for Arsene Wenger’s men.
Former Manchester United defender Neville felt that the attacker was “distracted” by the speculation about his future towards the end of last season and says he is eager to see how Sanchez will perform in the coming months.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, Neville said: “Sanchez has been distracted at Arsenal for the last six months.
“His career at Arsenal, I couldn’t say a bad word about him until two or three months before the end of last season.
“I did feel he became distracted. Let’s see how he performs this season at Arsenal. Ultimately he is still building up his fitness, he’s still not in the team.”
Sanchez played the full 90 minutes as Arsenal secured their spot in the fourth round of the League Cup with a 1-0 win over Doncaster on Wednesday night.
The north London side return to Premier League action on Monday night with a home clash against West Brom at The Emirates.
