Ian Wright sends surprise message to Arsenal fans about Alexis Sanchez
Ian Wright suggests that Alexis Sanchez is not as crucial to Arsenal as most fans would believe

Ian Wright has suggested that Alexis Sanchez is not a crucial part of the Arsenal team in the big games.
The Chile international is widely regarded to be one of the Premier League’s finest attacking talents and he has earned plenty of new admirers since his transfer to The Emirates from Barcelona back in 2014.
Sanchez started from the bench in Arsenal’s goalless draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as the Gunners battled to a earn a solid point against their London rivals.
The 28-year-old came on as a second-half substitute as Arsene Wenger’s men tried and failed to net a winner against the Blues.
However, Wright believes that Sanchez can too often lose the ball up front for the Gunners and reckons that he is something of a “luxury” player for the north London side.
“Everyone knows how highly I rate Sanchez and I’d like to see him play as much as possible before moving on,” Wright told the Sun.
“But you do wonder if he is a luxury you cannot afford in games like the ones against Liverpool and Chelsea.
“And I’m not just saying this because of their goalless draw at the Bridge — I’ve thought this way for a while.
“Sanchez will get you wonder goals, like he did against Cologne in the Europa League, but he does lose the ball a lot when he cuts inside.
“And that can spell real trouble. You can get away with it against most teams and, like I said, the good far outweighs the bad stuff with Sanchez.”
Sanchez will be expecting to start for Arsenal when the Gunners return to Premier League action on Monday night with a home clash against West Bromwich Albion at The Emirates.
The north London side are aiming to break back into the top four this season after they finished in a disappointing fifth place under Wenger last term.
