Arsene Wenger is convinced that Arsenal will be able to get their season back on track despite their stuttering start to the new campaign.

The Gunners have already found themselves under pressure after losing two of their opening three games to leave them in 16th place in the Premier League table.

Arsenal were thrashed 4-0 by Liverpool at Anfield in their most recent Premier League outing to heap further pressure on Wenger and the Gunners players.

However, Wenger is certain that his team have what it takes to bounce back and establish themselves as challengers at the top of the Premier League table once again.

Wenger told Telefoot: “Despite everything the team has real potential and we must recover as always in times of crisis and we must win the next game.

“Can Arsenal win the league this season? It’s possible.”

Arsenal have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.

The Gunners are having to settle for Europa League football this season after they finished fifth in the Premier League last term and won the FA Cup.

Arsenal will take on Bournemouth at The Emirates in their next Premier League game on Saturday afternoon.
