Mohamed Elneny is determined to help Arsenal claim three points against Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Egypt midfielder started Arsenal’s 3-1 Europa League victory over German side Cologne at The Emirates on Thursday night as the Gunners got their European campaign off to a winning start.

Arsenal will now turn their attentions back to Premier League affairs and their crunch clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

The north London side have made a mixed start to the new campaign, losing two and winning two of their opening four games.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have bounced back from their opening weekend defeat by Burnley to win their next three games and move up to third place in the Premier League table.

Elneny, though, says Arsenal are fully focused on beating Chelsea and climbing the Premier League table.

Elneny told Arsenal’s website: “Starting tomorrow, we will put our heads on the Chelsea game – it’s a tough opponent and tough match.

“We want to give it all in the game to make our fans happy.”

Arsenal have won the last two meetings between the two sides, in the FA Cup final and Community Shield.

However, Chelsea got the better of the Gunners in their most recent Premier League meeting at Stamford Bridge last season with a 3-1 victory.

Chelsea are aiming to defend their Premier League title after their impressive title triumph under Antonio Conte last term.
