Aaron Ramsey sends message to Arsenal supporters about their ability to compete with the top teams in the Premier League

Aaron Ramsey has challenged his Arsenal team-mates to build upon their performance against Chelsea.
The north London side managed to restore some confidence with a dogged goalless draw with the Premier League champions at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The Gunners were tipped to lose to the title holders given Arsene Wenger’s side endured a humiliating 4-0 loss to title rivals Liverpool in their last game on the road.
Arsenal have a generally poor record against their closest rivals in the Premier League over the past three or four seasons in the English top flight.
Wenger’s side have already been discounted from the discussion about potential title winners this term given their sluggish start to the 2017-18 campaign.
However, Ramsey believes the Arsenal players can take confidence from their resilient performance at Stamford Bridge to end their losing run on the road.
“We were together out there, everybody fought for each other and we showed what we’re capable of doing away from home against a top team,” Ramsey told Arsenal’s website.
“Hopefully we can continue that throughout the season.”
Arsenal have beaten Leicester City and Bournemouth in the Premier League so far this season.
The Gunners spent a club-record £52m fee on Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette in the summer transfer window.
The north London side also recruited Bosnian defender Sead Kolasinac in a free transfer from Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04.
Arsenal will host West Brom in their next Premier League game at The Emirates.
