Thierry Henry plays down Arsenal concerns about Alexis Sanchez
The Arsenal legend is confident Alexis Sanchez will continue to work hard for the Gunners' cause

Thierry Henry has played down concerns about Alexis Sanchez’s performance level at Arsenal.
The Gunners forward was linked with a move to their title rivals Manchester City in the summer transfer window but a deal failed to materialise.
Indeed, Sanchez’s proposed transfer fell through on deadline day despite the Chile international’s eagerness to secure a summer switch.
The 28-year-old has now entered the final 12 months of his Arsenal contract to throw up the possibility of the South American leaving for nothing next summer.
Sanchez missed Arsenal’s opening two games in the Premier League due to injury before he returned to the starting line-up for the north London side’s 4-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield.
The Gunners forward has scored one goal in five games in all competitions this season but hasn’t produced some of his trademark electric form.
Former Arsenal legend Henry is confident that Sanchez will give 100 per cent for the north London side’s cause despite the disappointment of missing out on a summer move.
“[Arsenal should expect] what he always has done,” Henry told Monday Night Football on Sky Sports.
“Play, play hard. We were talking about (Philippe) Coutinho the other day, he wanted to leave, he came back, move on.
“He’s at your club, he’s here, yes he wanted to leave, we all know it, but we know he’s going to play hard.
“The other day I was at the game against Doncaster, he played hard. He played like he always plays, let’s move on. Let’s get behind the man, enjoy him, he’s still in our league.”
Arsenal signed Sanchez in a £35m deal from La Liga giants Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners signed Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette and Schalke 04 defender Sead Kolasinac.
The north London side missed out on a top four place last season despite Sanchez’s 24 goals.
