Ian Wright has revealed that his Chelsea and Manchester United friends feel sorry for the Arsenal legend.
The Gunners have endured a tumultuous start to the 2017-18 season after losing two of their opening three Premier League games.
Arsenal offered their fans some positives with a penalty shootout victory over defending Premier League champions Chelsea in the Community Shield.
But the Gunners were unconvincing in a 4-3 win against Leicester City in their top-flight opener after Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud scored late goals to overturn the lead.
Arsenal suffered a 1-0 loss to Stoke City in their first Premier League game on the road after Jese Rodriguez scored a second-half winner at the bet365 Stadium.
Things went from bad to worse for Arsenal when the Gunners suffered a humiliating 4-0 loss to title rivals Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain completed a move to Liverpool in a £40m deal on the final day of the transfer window as Arsenal failed to make any further additions to their squad.
Wright revealed that his friends who support the north London side’s title rivals actually feel sorry for the Arsenal legend.
“I didn’t expect to see such a terrible performance. It’s embarrassing,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“My Chelsea, Man United and Tottenham mates feel sorry me. That’s the worst feeling as a fan.”
Arsenal have signed Alexandre Lacazette in a club-record £52m deal from Ligue 1 side Lyon this summer.
The Gunners also added Bosnian defender Sead Kolasinac to their squad on a free transfer.
