BBC journalist suggests Arsenal could spend big in January
Reporter David Ornstein delivers the latest update about the transfer funds at Arsenal after the summer window

Arsenal have been safeguarding funds for the next two transfer windows, according to BBC reporter David Ornstein.
The Gunners only ended up making two signings in the summer transfer window after tying up deals for Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac early on.
Arsenal were linked with a host of players during the summer transfer window but ended up only making those two additions.
The north London side also managed to raise around £35m from the sale of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool.
Many Arsenal fans were left asking why the Gunners did not bring in any more players before the close of the transfer window on Thursday night.
However, BBC Sport journalist Ornstein has hinted that there was not as much money available for transfers at The Emirates as it may seem.
Ornstein told BBC Sport: “My information is that they spent over £50million on the transfer fee of Alexandre Lacazette, a club-record signing.
“When you factor in his salary, a reported £200,000-a-week and the salary of Sead Kolasinac, the left-back who joined on a free transfer, then that eats into a fairly large chunk of that sort of £100-150m.
“You then may ask, where did the money from Oxlade-Chamberlain go?
“I’m told some of that money has gone to Southampton, who were his previous club, were owed a sell-on fee.
“But also they are said to be ‘safeguarding’ money, leaving money aside for the next two transfer windows, January and next summer.
“So whilst there is a bit of money left at Arsenal, there was no more money for major signings.”
Arsenal have made a poor start to the new Premier League season, after having lost two of their opening three games to leave them in 16th place in the table.
The Gunners were thrashed 4-0 by Liverpool at Anfield last weekend.
The north London side return to Premier League action after the international break next weekend when they take on Bournemouth at The Emirates.
