Insider: This manager has always wanted to take over from Wenger at Arsenal
Roberto Mancini has always wanted the Arsenal job, according to reporter Kaveh Solhekol

Roberto Mancini has always wanted to take over from Arsene Wenger at Arsenal, according to Kaveh Solhekol.
Wenger has already found himself under pressure at The Emirates this season after his team made a poor start to the new Premier League campaign and lost two of their opening three games.
Arsenal suffered a humiliating 4-0 loss to Liverpool in their most recent outing to leave Wenger’s men in 16th place in the table after three games.
Wenger had already found himself to be under pressure for most of last season but he eventually ended up signing a new two-year contract at the start of the summer, despite Arsenal ending up in fifth place in the table.
Now, Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol has taken to social media to claim that former Manchester City boss Mancini was always keen on joining Arsenal, after he was linked with the West Ham job.
Solhekol wrote on Twitter: “Roberto Mancini being linked with West Ham.
“One job he’s always wanted… Arsenal.”
Arsenal return to Premier League action on Saturday with a home clash against Bournemouth at The Emirates.
