Alan Smith replies when asked if Arsenal can win the title
Alan Smith discusses Arsenal's Premier League title chances after their 2-0 victory over West Brom on Monday night

Alan Smith believes that Arsenal still have some way to go if they want to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
The north London side returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Monday night when they secured a 2-0 victory over West Brom at The Emirates.
Two goals from summer signing Alexandre Lacazette wrapped up the three points for Arsene Wenger’s men as they sealed their third victory of the new campaign and moved up to seventh place in the table.
Arsenal have made a mixed start to the new season and currently find themselves six points behind joint leaders Manchester United and Manchester City.
And former Arsenal striker Smith has given his verdict on the Gunners’ title hopes after their victory over West Brom.
Speaking on Sky Sports on Monday night, Smith replied when asked if Arsenal could mount a title challenge: “I think you’d still want to see a bit more from them in the next 10 games but if they show the kind of attitude that they did at Chelsea last week, who could say?
“It looked like a potentially difficult tie tonight but they came through it.
“I don’t see them on the same level as the two Manchester clubs, for certain.”
Arsenal return to Europa League action on Thursday night when they travel to Russia to take on BATE Borisov.
The north London side will then get back to Premier League action when they take on Brighton at The Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
Arsenal have not won the Premier League title since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
