Diego Simeone makes honest admission about Alvaro Morata at Chelsea
Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone explains why he is such a big fan of Chelsea striker Diego Costa

Diego Simeone has heaped praise on Alvaro Morata following his strong start to life at Chelsea – and is backing him to be a very important player for the Blues.
The Spanish forward has been in brilliant form for Antonio Conte’s men since his arrival at Stamford Bridge from Real Madrid back in July.
Morata has scored six goals and made two assists in six Premier League games for the west London side and has earned plenty of praise for the speed at which he appears to have adapted to life in England.
And Atletico Madrid manager was full of praise for the 24-year-old attacker when asked about Morata ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Spain in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Speaking at a news conference before Chelsea’s trip to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night, Simeone said: “Morata is a very important player.
“He has great movement in the box, he knows how to play with his back to goal and can keep the ball.
“He will perform really well at Chelsea alongside players like Willian, [Eden] Hazard and Pedro.”
Morata will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday evening with a crunch clash against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues head into the game knowing that victory over Pep Guardiola’s side would move them level on points with the Citizens as the Premier League title race gathers shape.
Chelsea won the title in style in Conte’s first campaign at the club last season.
