Michael Owen sends message to Chelsea fans about Alvaro Morata
Michael Owen explains why he has been so impressed by Alvaro Morata's start to life at Chelsea

Michael Owen has admitted that he has been very impressed by Alvaro Morata’s strong start to life in a Chelsea shirt.
The Spanish striker has been getting used to life at Stamford Bridge in recent weeks after signing for the Blues from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Morata has been a regular fixture in the Chelsea team this season in the absence of Diego Costa, and the 24-year-old has already netted three times in four Premier League games for Antonio Conte’s men.
The former Real Madrid striker seems to be adapting quickly to the rigours of the Premier League and he has also notched up two assists for his Chelsea team-mates in the top flight.
And former Liverpool striker Owen has been impressed by the way the forward has begun life in England following his move to Stamford Bridge back in July.
Speaking on BT Sport on Tuesday night, Owen said: “I have been impressed. He’s probably suited to English football.
“He’s a good player when the ball is coming in from wide areas and there’s more crossing in England than a lot of other countries. He’s scored a couple of great goals already this season.
“I just love the way he moves in the box just before the ball comes in. It’s brilliant to watch.”
Morata will be hoping to start for Chelsea when the Blues take on Arsenal in their crunch Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
The striker was an unused substitute as Conte’s men thrashed Qarabag 6-0 in their opening Champions League group game on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.
