Steven Gerrard makes honest admission about Alvaro Morata at Chelsea
Steven Gerrard compares Alvaro Morata to Fernando Torres after the striker's strong start at Chelsea

Steven Gerrard has admitted that Alvaro Morata’s strong start to life at Chelsea reminds him of Fernando Torres’ early days at Liverpool.
The Spanish forward has been in superb form for Antonio Conte’s side since signing for the west London club from Real Madrid back in July.
Morata continued his fine start on Wednesday night when he netted Chelsea’s equaliser in their thrilling 2-1 comeback win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
The forward has also scored six goals in six Premier League games for Conte’s men, showing that he is adapting to life in the English top flight with ease.
And former Liverpool captain Gerrard, who linked up with Torres so well during their together at Anfield, says he sees similarities between the two Spanish strikers.
Speaking on BT Sport on Wednesday night, former Liverpool star Gerrard said: “His goals per game record is fantastic.
“When I saw the goals at the weekend against Stoke, he reminded me a lot of Fernando Torres at Liverpool in the way he runs and his movement.”
Morata will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday night with a crunch clash against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
The west London side know that victory over Pep Guardiola’s men would move them level on points with the Citizens at the top of the table heading into the international break.
