Antonio Conte delivers the latest update on Pedro Rodriguez after Chelsea's goalless draw with Arsenal on Sunday

Antonio Conte has revealed that he is hoping Pedro Rodriguez will be back in good shape as soon as possible after he suffered an ankle problem in Chelsea’s goalless draw with Arsenal on Sunday.
The Spanish midfielder looked to be in considerable pain at Stamford Bridge in the first half of the Premier League clash after clattering into Nacho Monreal.
However, Pedro was able to continue until the break, when he was substituted by Conte after complaining of discomfort in his ankle.
Speaking after the game, Chelsea boss Conte insisted that he is hopeful that the problem is not too serious.
Blues manager Conte said on Sky Sports: “Pedro took a bad tackle in his ankle
“He wasn’t 100 per cent fit [after that] so I decided to make a substitution for the second half.
“I hope this problem is not serious – we lost Pedro against Arsenal [in pre-season].”
Chelsea will look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they travel to the bet365 Stadium to take on Stoke City next weekend.
The west London side are aiming to win the Premier League title for the second successive season after their title triumph last term under Conte.
Chelsea take on Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford in the third round of the League Cup on Wednesday night as they look to challenge for honours on four fronts this season in Conte’s second campaign in charge.
