Pundit explains why Chelsea signing is a class above Arsenal rival
Paul Merson reckons that Alvaro Morata is a class above fellow Premier League new boy Alexandre Lacazette

Paul Merson believes that Alvaro Morata is a level above Alexandre Lacazette following his strong start to life at Chelsea.
The Spanish forward has hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge after signing for the west London side from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Morata has scored three goals and made two assists in four Premier League appearances for the west London side since his move to Chelsea and he seems to be quickly adapting to the rigours of English football.
Lacazette has also been in good form since signing for Arsenal from Lyon back in July.
The French forward has scored two goals in four Premier League games for Arsene Wenger’s men since becoming the club’s record signing in the summer.
Both Morata and Lacazette will be hoping to start for their respective clubs in the crunch showdown between Chelsea and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Sunday.
However, former Arsenal man Merson feels that Morata is clearly the better signing of the two.
Merson told Sky Sports News: “I like him [Lacazette], I think he is a good player – but Morata is top top draw.
“Morata is going to be an absolute star in the Premier League. He’s different class.
“I watched him come on as a sub in the first game against Burnley and even in that 15 minutes… it’s like when you watch something and someone’s done something in 15 minutes and you think “wow, they can play” and he did that about five times. He’s hit the ground running.
“I like Lacazette don’t get me wrong, but if I was playing Real Madrid on Saturday he would play in front of Lacazette.”
Arsenal have beaten Chelsea in their last two clashes with the Blues, in the FA Cup final and Community Shield at Wembley.
