The Belgian playmaker earned huge amounts of praise for his sparkling display for the Blues in their thrilling 2-1 Champions League win over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.
Hazard made just his second start of the season against the Spanish club as he helped Conte’s men claim a brilliant victory in Spain.
The 26-year-old was named as the man of the match as he linked up superbly with Alvaro Morata against the La Liga outfit.
Conte has been gradually bringing Hazard back into the first team after the attacker missed the start of the season as he recovered from an ankle injury.
It remains to be seen whether Hazard will feature from the start once again after playing for the Blues on Wednesday night.
But Conte seemed to hint that he may well call upon the former Lille star from the start on Saturday evening at Stamford Bridge, although he stopped short of confirming his plan.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference, Conte said of Hazard: “Last season he had an important season, he played very well, he performed like a top player.
“Now we managed his recovery very well. We respected the right time before giving him the responsibility to play a big game from the start.
“If he was able to play one game like the last game against Atletico Madrid, it means he is ready now to play with continuity.
“Then, I have to try to make the best decision for the team, not only a single player.”
Chelsea head into the game knowing that a win would move them level on points with Manchester City at the top of the table.
The west London side are currently third in the Premier League table.
