Antonio Conte delivers verdict on Chelsea signing’s start to the season
The Chelsea manager is pleased with Alvaro Morata's start to the Premier League campaign following his big-money summer move

Antonio Conte has praised Alvaro Morata for adapting to Chelsea’s style of play following his summer move.
The Spain international completed a £58m switch to the Premier League champions from La Liga giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Morata opened his Premier League account with a consolation goal in a 3-2 loss to Burnley at Stamford Bridge in their season opener.
The 24-year-old netted his second strike of the new campaign in a comfortable 2-0 victory over Everton to continue his adjustment to the Premier League.
The former Juventus forward scored his first goal on the road in the Premier League last weekend in a 2-1 win against 2016 champions Leicester City.
Morata has been tasked with replacing Diego Costa’s goals in the Chelsea side as the controversial Spanish forward continues to be frozen out at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have won three of their opening four Premier League games to hoist themselves up to third place in the Premier League table on nine points.
And Conte has praised Morata’s impact at Chelsea in the opening month of the 2017-18 campaign.
“He is playing very well, scoring and is totally in our idea of football,” Conte told his pre-match media conference ahead of Chelsea’s home clash against Qarabag on Tuesday night.
“He played the full game of Spain and Leicester, I have to check to use the best team for Tuesday night.”
Chelsea have won the Premier League title in two of the past three seasons.
The Blues lost 2-1 to Arsenal in the FA Cup final last term.
