Eden Hazard admits that he has been impressed by Alvaro Morata's start to life as a Chelsea player
Eden Hazard has admitted that he has been impressed by what he has seen from Alvaro Morata so far for Chelsea this season.
The Spanish striker signed for the Blues from Real Madrid back in July and he has made a strong start to life as a Chelsea player.
Morata continued his fine form for the west London club on Saturday as he scored again in Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Leicester at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.
The 24-year-old has scored three goals and made two assists in four Premier League appearances so far this season as he adapts to life in England.
And Hazard has been impressed by what he has seen from Morata, although he joked that he could do with improving his finishing with his feet.
Hazard is quoted as saying by Metro: “Like you saw, I saw he is a good player, I saw that he scores a lot with his head… now he needs to score with his feet!
“He is a top player. He can score every time. When he scores, we win the game so I think he is good.
“He is in good form, even in the national team he scored three times so I hope that for Chelsea, he can score a lot of goals.”
Chelsea return to Champions League action on Tuesday night with a crunch clash against Qarabag at Stamford Bridge in their group opener.
The west London side, who won the title in Antonio Conte’s first campaign last season, have taken nine points from their opening four Premier League games to leave them to leave them third in the table.
