Antonio Conte has confirmed that Eden Hazard will be in the Chelsea squad for Saturday’s crunch Premier League clash against Leicester City.

The Belgian playmaker has been out of action so far this season due to an ankle injury but he is now working his way back to full fitness.

Hazard played 93 minutes for the Belgian national side during the recent round of international games as he continues to work on his fitness levels.

The 26-year-old has missed all of Chelsea’s Premier League games so far this season due to injury but he could be in line to feature against the Foxes this weekend

And Conte has confirmed that Hazard is likely to feature against Leicester at the King Power Stadium this weekend.

Conte told a news conference at Chelsea’s training ground on Friday afternoon: “Now he is available, he is in the list for the squad. He is improving a lot, he is working very strong to be ready.

“Now I can count on him. I have to decide the right minutes, but he is available now.

“When there is a bad injury and surgery, it is normal to pay attention to his recovery.

“Don’t forget he is an important player for us, to play soon.”

Hazard was one of Chelsea’s standout performers last season as he helped the Blues lift the Premier League title for the second time in three years.

The Blues missed out on the chance to win a domestic double when they were beaten by Arsenal in the FA Cup final back in May.
