Didier Drogba sends proud message to Chelsea midfielder
The Chelsea legend was delighted to see N'Golo Kante on the score sheet in their 2-1 win against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon

Didier Drogba has admitted that he was proud to see N’Golo Kante score in Chelsea’s 2-1 win against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
The France international is perhaps best known for his defensive qualities after winning the PFA player of the year back in April.
Kante has played a key role in helping both Leicester City and Chelsea to win the Premier League title in the last two seasons.
The 26-year-old moved to Chelsea in a £30m deal from Leicester last summer to help improve Antonio Conte’s midfield options.
Kante scored against Manchester United in both the FA Cup and the Premier League last season following a return of two goals in all competitions.
However, the France midfielder opened his account for the 2017-18 season with the second goal in Chelsea’s 2-1 win against his former employers at the King Power Stadium.
Former Chelsea striker Drogba admitted that he was delighted to see Kante get on the score sheet in the west London side’s third Premier League victory of the 2017-18 season.
“He doesn’t score much but when he does everyone is happy for him because he is working a lot for the team and giving everything,” Drogba told Sky Sports News.
“I was proud that he scored his goal. It was a very difficult game. It is always difficult to play at Leicester so I am happy with the result.”
Chelsea won the Premier League title with two games to spare last season after finishing seven points clear of closest title challengers Tottenham Hotspur.
