Craig Bellamy sends message to Chelsea fans about 21-year-old midfielder

Craig Bellamy admits that he cannot understand why Chelsea let the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Nathaniel Chalobah leave the club this summer.
The Blues opted to let Loftus-Cheek join Premier League rivals Crystal Palace on loan for the season and also allowed Chalobah to sign for Watford on a permanent deal.
Chelsea also saw a number of other players leave Stamford Bridge this summer, including the likes of John Terry, Nathan Ake, Nemanja Matic and Kurt Zouma.
And former Wales star Bellamy admits that he was surprised by some of the names that were allowed to leave the west London club in the summer transfer window.
Speaking on The Debate on Sky Sports on Wednesday night, Bellamy said: “Why did they let Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Nathaniel Chalobah go? They were getting games last year.
“Why let them go, and then bring in maybe a Drinkwater or a Barkley, when we all know Roman Abramovich is so eager for a youth player to come in and be a key player?
“Does it make business sense?”
Chelsea made it back to back wins in the Premier League on Sunday when they secured a 2-0 victory over Everton at Stamford Bridge.
That result followed their 2-1 win over Tottenham at Wembley as they bounced back from their shock 3-2 loss to Burnley on the opening day of the campaign.
Chelsea will take on Atletico Madrid, Roma and Qarabag in the group stage of the Champions League in September as Antonio Conte looks to steer the Blues to European glory this season.
