Antonio Conte sends open message to Chelsea fans about Eden Hazard
Antonio Conte opens up about Eden Hazard and the important role he can play for Chelsea this season

Antonio Conte has revealed that he is hoping Eden Hazard will play a key role in helping Chelsea win major trophies this season.
The Belgian playmaker has been gradually reinstated into the first team at Stamford Bridge this season by Conte after the 26-year-old suffered an ankle injury at the start of the summer and required surgery to correct the problem.
Hazard will now be hoping to play a key role for the Blues in both the Champions League and Premier League for Conte’s men.
And the Chelsea manager is clearly thrilled to have the Belgium international back available for selection once again.
Speaking at a news conference before Chelsea’s clash with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night, Conte said of Hazard: “Last season Eden played very well and a really important season for us to win the league.
“He showed in every game a great talent to be a really good player.
“The Champions League is very important for him but also for the team. This competition brings you to another level and he has all the possibility to do that. He is a top player, he is fit.”
Hazard will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday evening with a crunch clash against Manchester City at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea head into that game three points behind joint leaders Manchester City and Manchester United after their impressive 4-0 victory over Stoke last weekend.
Hazard played a key role for Chelsea as they won the Premier League title in both the 2014-15 and 2016-17 campaigns – and he’ll be hoping to help the west London side go far in Europe this season.
