Paul Merson makes admission about Michy Batshuayi at Chelsea
Paul Merson discusses Michy Batshuayi's start to life at Chelsea since his transfer to the club last summer

Paul Merson believes that Michy Batshuayi is not good enough to lead the line for Chelsea should Alvaro Morata get injured.
The Belgian striker has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge since his move to the club from Marseille last summer.
Batshuayi did make a name for himself when he scored the important goal which clinched Chelsea the Premier League title against West Brom last season.
However, the forward has not yet been able to enjoy a regular run in the first team at Stamford Bridge.
And former Arsenal star Merson believes that the Belgium international doesn’t have the quality to be Chelsea’s top striker.
Writing in his column for the Daily Star, Merson said: “No disrespect to Michy Batshuayi, but he just doesn’t look ready to fill in for any extended length of time.
“He’s looked dangerous off the bench sometimes but if Alvaro Morata gets injured, can you see him carrying Chelsea for 15 games? I can’t.”
Chelsea return to Premier League action next weekend with a trip to Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
The west London side are aiming to win the Premier League title for the second season running following Antonio Conte’s appointment at Stamford Bridge last summer.
The Blues won the title but missed out on a domestic double when they were beaten by Arsenal in the FA Cup final at Wembley back in May.
