Chelsea among three clubs interested in signing proven 30-year-old striker – report
Chelsea are facing competition from Everton and Napoli for the signature of PSG striker Edinson Cavani, according to reports

Chelsea are interested in signing Napoli striker Edinson Cavani but face competition from Everton and Napoli, according to reports in England.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Premier League champions are keeping tabs on the Uruguay international ahead of the January transfer window.
The same article states that Cavani would demand to be an automatic starter at Stamford Bridge but it remains to be seen whether Antonio Conte would grant the South American that wish.
Paris Saint-Germain are under pressure to sell to satisfy Financial Fair Play rules following the world-record signing of Neymar and the addition of Kylian Mbappe on loan from Monaco.
Chelsea would face competition for the centre-forward’s signature from Cavani’s former employers Napoli and their Premier League rivals Everton.
Cavani has scored seven goals and has made two assists in six Ligue 1 appearances so far this season following the additions of Mbappe and Neymar.
However, the South American clashed with Neymar during PSG’s 2-0 win against Lyon over a second-half penalty in the top of the table clash in Ligue 1.
Cavani has scored 95 times in 139 appearances in Ligue 1 since his move to PSG from Napoli in the 2013 summer transfer window.
