Mark Lawrenson states his prediction for Chelsea v Man City
Mark Lawrenson looks ahead to Chelsea's clash with Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday

Mark Lawrenson is tipping Chelsea to hold Manchester City to a 1-1 draw in their Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
Chelsea head into the game fresh from their impressive 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night and after having demolished Stoke City 4-0 last weekend.
Manchester City, though, have also been in fine form and Pep Guardiola’s men are currently top of the Premier League table after six games of the new campaign.
Chelsea are third and know that victory over the Citizens would leave them level on points with their title rivals heading into the international break.
However, former Liverpool star Lawrenson is tipping both sides to share the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Writing in his column for BBC Sport, Lawrenson said: “Chelsea have not been quite as spectacular as City in terms of the number of goals they have scored, but their opening-day defeat by Burnley seems a long time ago.
“Since then it has been business as usual for the defending champions, really.
“Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is not getting the same publicity as Lukaku and Harry Kane but he is scoring for fun.
“As a team, City are doing that too, but both sides are full of quality and this is going to be very close.”
Chelsea are aiming to defend their Premier League title this season after their impressive triumph under Antonio Conte last term.
The west London side are also aiming to progress as far as possible in the Champions League, after having missed out on a place in Europe altogether last term.
Manchester City have scored 21 goals and only conceded twice in the Premier League so far this season under Guardiola.
