Michael Owen states his prediction for CSKA Moscow v Man United
The Liverpool legend is backing Manchester United to ease to victory over Russian side CSKA Moscow on Wednesday night

Michael Owen is backing Manchester United to ease to a comfortable win against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils have barely put a foot wrong in the Premier League so far this season following a return of 16 points from six games.
Manchester United have already beaten West Ham, Swansea City, Leicester City, Everton and Southampton in the Premier League this term.
The 20-time English champions dropped their first points of the season in a 2-2 draw with Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.
Manchester United have scored 17 goals and conceded two goals in their opening six games heading into their second Champions League fixture.
The Red Devils eased to a 3-0 win against Swiss side Basel in their European opener at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Marouane Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford.
Former Liverpool striker Owen is backing Manchester United to beat CSKA Moscow and take a big step towards qualification for the knockout phase.
“After Liverpool’s trip to the Russian capital, domestic rivals Manchester United play 24 hours later and should likewise claim three points towards qualification to the knockout stages,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Jose Mourinho’s side have won 7 of their 9 opening games to the new season and, after winning six of those games without conceding, look a good price to win to nil on Wednesday.”
Manchester United signed Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic, Benfica defender Victor Lindelof and Everton striker Lukaku in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils haven’t won the Champions League title since beating Chelsea on penalties in Moscow in 2008.
