Eden Hazard has joked that he wishes Michy Batshuayi would “change his hair” and questioned the Chelsea striker’s fashion sense.

The pair already know each other well from having played together for Belgium but they also became club team-mates last summer when Batshuayi joined Chelsea from Marseille.

The striker has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Stamford Bridge since his move last year but he did score the goal which clinched Chelsea the title at West Brom back in May.

However, Hazard had a jokey message for his Belgium international team-mate.

Hazard told Chelsea’s website: “I just want Michy to change his hair.”

He continued: “Michy OK, he likes style, he likes to be dressed like a rapper. It is his own style, I don’t like it but for him, it is good.”

Both Hazard and Batshuayi will be hoping to feature for Chelsea when the Blues return to Premier League action after the international break with a crunch clash against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Hazard has not featured for Chelsea yet this season as he continued his recovery from an ankle injury but he made his return to action for Belgium during the international break.
