Henrikh Mkhitaryan makes vow to Man United supporters
Henrikh Mkhitaryan sends a clear message to Manchester United fans about his role in the Champions League

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has promised Manchester United fans that he will give everything to help the Red Devils enjoy a successful Champions League campaign this season.
The Armenia international has made a strong star to the new season with Jose Mourinho’s men, scoring one goal and making five assists in the Premier League.
Mkhitaryan initially struggled to make much of an impact at Old Trafford last season after arriving at the club from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
However, his form improved considerably in the second half of the campaign as he helped Manchester United to win the Europa League, scoring against Ajax in the final in Stockholm back in May.
Mkhitaryan will be hoping to play a key role for Manchester United this season as Mourinho’s side look to challenge for the top honours.
And the 28-year-old has promised to use his expertise to try and bring success to Old Trafford this season.
Mkhitaryan told a news conference before Manchester United’s clash with CSKA Moscow on Wednesday: “Of course the Champions League is not the same tournament, the Europa League is a bit different.
“I did very well last season, I’m very happy for that, I’m very glad, but this season it’s a bit different because we’re playing in the Champions League and the tournament is more difficult.
“But it’s not the first time I’m going to play in Champions League, I know how to deal with it, and I’m going to try to do my best to perform well as well.”
Manchester United now switch their attentions back to Premier League affairs and their home clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils are currently joint top of the table along with local rivals Manchester City after six games.
