Paul Merson states his prediction for Leicester v Liverpool
Paul Merson looks ahead to Liverpool's Premier League clash with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium

Paul Merson is backing Liverpool to get back to winning ways in the Premier League by beating Leicester 2-1 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds are travelling to the same ground to face the Foxes for the second time in a matter of days after their 2-0 loss to Craig Shakespeare’s men in the third round of the League Cup on Tuesday night.
Liverpool have made a stuttering start to the new campaign and they were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley at Anfield in their most recent Premier League outing last weekend.
However, former Arsenal star Merson is backing the Reds to claim all three points when they take on the Foxes at the King Power Stadium this weekend.
Writing in his column for Sky Sports, Merson said: “If Liverpool put their chances away, they win this match and they will need three points because the Manchester clubs are getting away from them already.
“They were unlucky at the King Power in the Carabao Cup – they dominated the first half – and I think they bounce back with a victory on their return.
“I can’t say they’ll keep a clean sheet – their defence is nowhere near good enough – but if they score two that should do the trick.”
Liverpool are aiming to improve their form this season as they look to better their fourth-placed finish in the Premier League last term.
Jurgen Klopp successfully steered the Reds to Champions League qualification last term in his first full season in charge at the club.
The Merseyside outfit return to Champions League action next week with a trip to Spartak Moscow after their 2-2 draw with Sevilla earlier this month.
