Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain sends message to Arsenal and Liverpool FC fans about Jurgen Klopp
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain reveals that the chance to work under Jurgen Klopp was one of the main reasons he swapped Arsenal for Liverpool FC

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has revealed that the chance to work under Jurgen Klopp was one of the main factors behind his decision to quit Arsenal and sign for Liverpool this summer.
The 24-year-old penned a long-term contract with the Reds on transfer deadline day last week after he opted against extending his deal with the Gunners and joined their Premier League rivals.
Oxlade-Chamberlain had been at Arsenal for six years working under Arsene Wenger before he opted to quit The Emirates for a new challenge.
And the England international has explained why he was so drawn to Liverpool and the chance to work under the German coach.
Speaking in an interview with LFC TV, Oxlade-Chamberlain said: “Even as a neutral watching him last season, you [could see] he’s a really interesting character and someone that seems very inspiring for people that aren’t even involved in the club.
“Watching him, [you see] his passion and how much he cares about the game.
“The thing that stood out for me was his relationship with the players, how close he seems to bond with the players on and off the field.
“That’s massive and it’s definitely a big plus when you’re looking to progress, having that relationship with the manager, that definitely helps.”
The midfielder could be set to make his first appearance in a Liverpool shirt on Saturday afternoon when the Reds take on Manchester City at The Etihad.
The Reds head into the game after having thrashed Arsenal 4-0 at Anfield before the international break.
