Steven Gerrard reflects on ‘unbelievable’ Liverpool FC under Jurgen Klopp
Steven Gerrard gives his honest thoughts on Liverpool FC's start to the new Premier League season

Steven Gerrard believes that Liverpool have been in “unbelievable” form going forwards but are still weak in defence this season.
The Reds have made a mixed start to the new Premier League season as Jurgen Klopp looks to steer the Merseyside outfit to the title this term.
Liverpool have won two, drawn one and lost one of their opening four top flight games, with their defence having been called into question on a number of occasions.
There are not many question marks about Liverpool’s attacking threat this season, with the Reds having thrashed Arsenal 4-0 at Anfield back in August.
However, there is still a sense that the Reds are struggling to keep things tight at the back this season, something which former Liverpool skipper Gerrard has pointed to in the wake of their 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester City last weekend.
Speaking on BT Sport on Tuesday night, former Reds star Gerrard said: “There’s been a bit of inconsistency this season.
“Liverpool look unbelievable going forward. They’re probably alongside Manchester City in terms of the best exciting teams in the league.
“But they can’t find consistency in the back four. I’m sure once they do it will settle down and Liverpool will be a force.”
Liverpool return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon when they host Burnley at Anfield.
The Reds finished fourth in the top flight last term to book their place in this season’s Champions League and secured their place in the group stage by beating Hoffenheim in the play-off round.
