Jurgen Klopp sends open message to Liverpool FC supporters about Philippe Coutinho
Jurgen Klopp insists his relationship with Philippe Coutinho remains good after he returned to Liverpool FC training

Jurgen Klopp has insisted that his relationship with Philippe Coutinho remains good after the playmaker returned to Liverpool training this week.
The Brazilian playmaker’s future has been a relentless source of speculation in recent months after he emerged as a prime target for Barcelona.
Coutinho was thought to be keen on a move to Camp Nou and was reported to have handed in a transfer request in a bid to force through a switch.
However, a move did not materialise as Liverpool opted to keep hold of the talented midfielder beyond the transfer deadline.
Coutinho trained with his team-mates at Melwood last week in the lead-up to Liverpool’s clash with Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon – but was not included in the squad for the game.
The playmaker has not yet featured for Liverpool this season after struggling with a back injury.
However, Klopp insists that the 25-year-old is now closing in on a comeback for the Reds.
Klopp told Liverpool’s website: “We saw training [on Thursday] morning and thought, ‘OK, maybe we should use him immediately’, because he was really good, but that doesn’t make sense.
“Of course – it’s all good, all good.
“There’s nothing else to say, actually, so he’s back and we had a really good conversation, so it’s good.
“I know what people think, but Phil had the back problem a few weeks ago and couldn’t train so that means he missed around about three weeks.
“Yes, he went to the national team and trained normally, but now we have to prepare for a normal season so we have seven games before the next international break.
“We have now to continue with the pre-season, not too long, but in a few sessions we have to give ourselves the time because in the next month we have seven games.
“We always have the same decision to make, ‘does he need training or can he play?’ and all that stuff.
“Yes, he will now do a little bit more than the other boys but he showed up in a very, very good mood and looks really promising.”
Liverpool were 4-0 winners over Arsenal in their most recent Premier League game last time out.
