Graeme Souness makes Liverpool prediction about Philippe Coutinho
The Liverpool legend believes Philippe Coutinho will continue to work hard for the Reds cause

Graeme Souness doesn’t expect Liverpool to have any issues with Philippe Coutinho moving forward this season.
The Brazil international was heavily linked with a move to La Liga giants Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
The Spanish giants were rumoured to have made a number of bids for the Liverpool number 10 but the Anfield outfit insisted the attacking midfielder was not for sale.
Coutinho handed in a transfer request but the Reds refused to budge and the Brazil international remained at the Merseyside outfit beyond the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old hasn’t made an appearance in Liverpool’s opening four Premier League games and their two Champions League playoff fixtures.
However, Sadio Mane’s three-game suspension for his sending off in the Reds’ 5-0 loss to Manchester City could see Coutinho handed a place in the Liverpool team next weekend.
Former Liverpool captain Souness believes Coutinho will remain dedicated to helping the Reds achieve success on the pitch despite the frustration of missing out on a Barcelona move.
“All eyes will be on him going forward at Liverpool, to see what sort of attitude he has from now on, but he seems to be a proper lad and I’m sure he’ll be fine,” Coutinho told Sky Sports.
Liverpool have won two of their opening four Premier League games to leave the Reds in seventh place in the table.
The Reds will start their Champions League group-stage campaign with a home clash against Sevilla on Wednesday night.
