Expert explains how Naby Keita could line up for Liverpool FC this season
Liverpool FC have the option to speed up Naby Keita's transfer to Anfield, according to one expert

Naby Keita could end up playing for Liverpool this season if the Reds decide to pay a premium to RB Leipzig, according to a Bundesliga expert.
Lee Price claims that the Reds could pay the German outfit an additional fee to speed up the Guinea international’s move to Anfield.
Liverpool agreed a deal to sign Keita from Leizpig late in the summer transfer window but the agreement is for the midfielder to officially join the Reds next summer, on 1 July.
However, Price claims that the move could be pushed forward if Liverpool are prepared to pay a premium.
Price is quoted as saying by the Sun: “As I revealed back in June, Keita had agreed terms with Liverpool long ago, and it was just Leipzig playing hard ball.
“Cornered by his release clause of £48m kicking in next summer, the German club always knew that they’d have to come to an agreement this summer to maximise their income, hence charging Liverpool a premium to do the deal now.
“This makes sense for all parties – unless Keita picks up an injury.
“There is a chance, depending on Leipzig’s domestic and Champions League progress, that Liverpool could pay a further premium to capture the midfielder in January.
“The deal also suits the Reds, as it safeguards them against Emre Can’s expiring contract – with the German expected to complete a move to Juventus at the end of the season.”
Liverpool made four summer signings after having tied up deals for Mohamed Salah, Dominic Solanke, Andy Robertson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Reds are back in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Manchester City at The Etihad as they look to build on their 4-0 thrashing of Arsenal before the international break.
