Liverpool FC legend sends clear message to Philippe Coutinho
Luis Garcia tells Philippe Coutinho that it's time for him to focus on Liverpool FC after the close of the transfer window

Luis Garcia has urged Philippe Coutinho to put his failed transfer to Barcelona behind him and focus on helping Liverpool enjoy a successful season under Jurgen Klopp.
The Brazilian playmaker was heavily linked with a transfer to Camp Nou during the summer but a move failed to materialise despite the 25-year-old handing in a transfer request at Anfield.
Coutinho has not featured for Liverpool yet this season after missing the Reds’ opening three Premier League games due to a back injury.
However, the Brazil playmaker featured for his country during the international break and is now in line to make his return to action for Liverpool in the coming weeks.
It remains to be seen whether Coutinho will be involved when Liverpool travel to Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.
But former Liverpool star Garcia now feels it is time for the 25-year-old to get his head down and focus on the task at hand at Anfield.
Garcia told talkSPORT: “Now it’s time for him to put everything on the field because the team’s going to need it.
“The moment that you know you’re not going to leave, you have to change your mind and start thinking about what is going to be this season.
“The team is looking good and the results are coming.”
Liverpool head into their crunch clash with Manchester City in second place in the Premier League table after their 4-0 thrashing of Arsenal at Anfield last weekend.
The Merseyside outfit are also preparing for a return to the group stage of the Champions League later this month.
