Rio Ferdinand: What excites me about Liverpool FC
The Man United legend reveals what excites him about Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp

Rio Ferdinand admits Liverpool’s attack is exciting to watch despite their defensive frailties.
The Reds have made a decent start to the season after scoring goals in their opening seven games in all competitions.
Liverpool booked their place in the Champions League group stage thanks to a 6-3 aggregate win against Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim.
The Reds made a disappointing start to their first group-stage fixture after Sevilla made the breakthrough in the fifth minute.
However, Liverpool’s attacking trio of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah clicked into gear to cause Sevilla problems.
And Firmino netted a close-range finish before Salah’s deflected strike turned the Champions League clash on its head.
Liverpool’s number nine missed a first-half penalty to give Sevilla a way back into the clash and Argentine midfielder Joaquin Correa levelled with 18 minutes to go.
Former Manchester United defender Ferdinand admitted that he does find it entertaining to watch Liverpool going forward under Jurgen Klopp.
“Liverpool are tantalising going forward. great options. Mane and Salah have great pace. Firmino brings other people into play,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.
“You wouldn’t want to play against them. They’re so quick and they’ve got end product.”
Liverpool have beaten Arsenal and Crystal Palace in the Premier League this season but dropped points in a 3-3 stalemate with Watford.
The Reds ended up in fourth place in the Premier League last term ahead of Arsenal in Klopp’s second full season in charge.
