Frank Lampard pinpoints Liverpool’s big issue under Jurgen Klopp
The Chelsea legend believes Liverpool must be more consistent under Jurgen Klopp

Frank Lampard believes Liverpool’s lack of consistency is their biggest issue under Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds have made a mixed start to the 2017-18 season despite impressing fans and pundits with their attacking football.
Liverpool were 4-0 winners against title rivals Arsenal before the international break thanks to goals from Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge.
However, the Merseyside outfit suffered a humiliating 5-0 loss to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last weekend following Mane’s first-half sending off.
Liverpool’s defensive issues raised their head again in a 2-2 draw with La Liga outfit Sevilla in their opening Champions League group-stage fixture.
The Reds impressed going forward but Liverpool were unable to put the European clash out of reach and the visitors scored an equaliser with 18 minutes to play.
Former Chelsea midfielder Lampard warned the Reds need to improve their consistency ahead of their home clash against Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
“They are a very exciting team,” Lampard told BT Sport on Wednesday night. “They are a very strong team. Consistency has been their issue.”
Liverpool have already scored 14 goals in their opening six games in all competitions this season but Klopp’s team have also conceded 13 times so far.
The Reds are looking to improve upon their fourth-place finish in the Premier League last term and reach the latter stages of the Champions League for the first time since 2009.
