Former Manchester United defender Higginbotham is tipping the Red Devils to make light work of Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
“The one thing is that when it’s nil-nil, it’s OK [for Crystal Palace]. But the minute Palace concede a goal, because they’re not scoring many goals, they think the game’s over,” Higginbotham told Sky Sports News on Friday morning.
“They’ve got to try and defend well but I think Manchester United are going to win this game very very comfortably.”
The Red Devils were 4-1 winners against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Wednesday night to continue their fine start to the season in all competitions.
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last season but the additions of Victor Lindelof, Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic have transformed the Red Devils into genuine title contenders.
